Another Brick in the Wall

The New Academy near us is really taking shape now, or lack of shape, due to the removal of the complex scoffolding that has been supporting all the works. The holes were where the last scaffold pieces rested (bearing in mind that the building is a massive 3 story one). Only one side has been removed - still a lot of work to do.

Though scaffolding can be a bit of an eyesore, us locals have been accustomed to it and many of us have actually grown to like it. I love the machanics of scaffolding plus the sunset shadows hitting the walls. Other by-passer comments have included:

"very dramatic"
"like those Bamboo put up by the Chinese"
"Cathederal spires"
"amazing repetitive symetry"

I know the title is a bit cheesy & predictable but at least it is a great song!
