The Bee Keeper

I have always suffered just prior to oil seed rape coming into flower, but last year I was given some honey produced by hives less than 100yds away. I had a little every day - think it can probably be attributed to state of mind as much as anything, but despite being surrounded by rape fields I have no itchy eyes or sore throats this year. The bee keeper was tending his hives this morning, and kindly allowed me to look in one with him, which I used to do with my dad when I was very young. I got two stings and a photo for the privilege !
