The Angus Inn

Driftwood on beach - done sooo many times before..

....but I still like it. Labour Day in NZ today so Monday off and a great one on the weather front for a change. We decided to head out of Wellington for a change of scene (plus a couple of extra Degrees C and less wind) and headed over the Rimutakas to the Wairarapa region best known for its wine. After coffee in Martinborough and a picnic by Lake Wairarapa, we ended up at Ocean Beach where I blipped this. We had great views across the Cook Strait where the Inner and Seaward Kaikoura Ranges of the South Island were visible still with snow on them.

In the background of the photo you can see some real classic kiwi baches.

Back to work tomorrow...and a deadline for a demanding customer.....poop
