tricolored heron

this fellow had been showing off while his apparent mate, a couple feet away, sat on a nest with at least one egg. This was the reaction to a cattle egret flying in too close to their space. (at the Wakodahatchee wetlands boardwalk). I don't know if this is their second clutch this season (?), since most of this year's baby tricolors are already out hunting on their own.
