The Pebble Princesses

One of those days with a surfeit of blippable moments...

But how could I skip this rite of passage - a riff on the lemonade stall?

What began as wild imaginings at the Glassworks ("we're orphan princesses raising money to build a home") turned into a genuine pebble stall, and surprisingly raised money from more than just the parents. Here are the only customers who truly wanted some pebbles - but lacked the funds to purchase. Fortunately, the entrepreneurs were not stony hearted, and gave away one of the cheapies in the hope their customers would be back for more (but with pocket money).

It was all in keeping with the spirit of the day - Irkustk and L were at a genuine lapidary rock swap, and Im was overflowing with entrepreneurial ideas. She had begun the day by raiding the craft cupboard, locating the chalk pastels and drawing a picture of Mt Kosciusko that she wanted to sell to the tourist authorities. The worm farm was also raided for some nefarious purposes, we prefer not to enquire what!
