If God had intended us to fly....

... He would have given us tickets! It's been a long day! Up at 3am, over to Manchester for our flight, negotiating the slaloms at the baggage drop off, then security then the boarding gate, arriving in Berlin after a good flight to find that train drivers are on strike., which made our long journey across the city to Spandau where we are staying quite complicated and a little stressful. We were still too early to check into our hotel, so we dropped off our bags, had some lunch then had a practice run out on the bus to the cemetery so we can find it OK on Friday. A cold beer, then back to our hotel for a nap. We spent the evening looking round the old town of Spandau and inadvertently came across a very nice restaurant were we ate with our friends some years ago. It was warm enough to eat outside so we had a relaxed meal by the river. I think I will sleep well tonight!
