Wednesday 30 May 2012: Small magpie
Busy day at work and no chance to get out at lunchtime. Trying to get things done as I have a few days off around the jubilee bank holiday weekend. Met up with a US colleague and ended up taking him back to his hotel in the town centre. Awful traffic meant a very long round trip before getting home.
Had the windows open at home during the evening and ended up with lots of insects and moths in the kitchen. I think this pretty moth is a small magpie (Eurrhypara hortulata according to the UK Moths website.
