Sunday 3 June 2012: The stairs of despair
The annual visit of despair to the art college degree show.
There were a couple of nice bits of graphic design, and one wonderfully weird disorientating maze-like installation, but the rest was a bit um... average. The photography was particularly disappointing, and I'm sure one of the sculpture rooms was almost exactly as it was last year.
Hey ho, home for cheesy pasta. I listened to the news as I beat my béchamel, to hear what a terribly rainy day it had been for the jubilee celebrations. Strange, I thought, been nice and sunny here all day. And despite being out and about all day I hadn't seen the merest hint of jubilee celebration.
