Reef has always been a real fish... and when it comes to water temperature, he is unbelievably resilient!
This lake is one of three beautiful lakes that is a 10 minute walk from our home. It is fed by a glacier fed river, so even though the water warms up by the time the river empties into the lake, it's still quite cold!
Reef has been swimming here since he was a baby, and you can count on him jumping in... rain or shine!
The only time he can resist is when it REALLY starts getting cold, and even then I usually have to convince him staying dry would be a better option!
Take today for example- the temperatures have dropped and the weather was windy and wet... but there we were, not a soul even close to the shores and there was Reef swimming and splashing around... having a ball! It must be the Canadian in him ; )
