Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant

I was lucky enough to get a front row view of the flotilla from Battersea looking back to Chelsea Bridge. With a long view the massed throng of boats was most impressive. It made me even more patriotic and proud to be British.
The strange thing was that I didn't see the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh on the Spirit of Chartwell. Their thrones were vacant, perhaps they'd gone to the other throne !
