Sunday 3 June 2012: Those Were the Best Days of Our Life!
The afternoon after the night before.
I think the party went well. She has been very quiet or asleep mostly since she came in.
She's not a bad chook at all. Drinking does not come naturally, something good she did not inherit from me.
One spectacular evening I was out for a drink with my friend. We had partied hard the night before, and were still weary from our exertions, we were going to have a couple of drinks, no dancing!!
We had a couple of drinks, were quite merry, and I decided I needed the loo. I left my pal sitting at the bar, with our two drinks in front of her. The bar was very quiet, and only another couple of folk in, sitting at tables.
I went to the loo, did my business, and came back out. To my utter confusion, the bar was packed. I edged my way over to where my friend had been sitting and she was gone; even worse - our drinks were gone too.
I said to the bar man, where is my drink? The barman said, "your pal had another one, and then drunk yours and then left, where did you go". "Where did I go, where did I go - I went to the bloody toilet".
"You've been gone about 5 hours", he said.
That is all.
