Penfriend

Today my French Penfriend Nathalie that I made at school and whom I've been friends with ever since came to visit with her family. We've known each other for 25 years now which seems incredible and have shared school visits, uni, years abroad, weddings and now children.

Nathalie and Francois came for lunch and the afternoon with their 2 children Paul & Alice - they are all staying in London for a few days so it was lovely to see them and to catch up with my parents too.

C enjoyed playing with Paul & Alice having come home early from nursery specially, it's amazing to see how young children communicating and playing together transcends language barriers!

Rosie slept over lunch and then has fed and fed all afternoon and a lot of the evening, we had a solid 11pm-4am last night followed by 5-8am so we'll see how we go tonight.
