Mighty Montana!

This magnificent montana clematis is growing over a dead tree trunk in my neighbours's garden.  I moved next door to B  23 years ago and the clematis was there then but not quite so big!  I have to watch out for the creeping tendrils that will reach out and entwine round (and choke) any plant they can reach .. I'm pretty good with the secateurs - when B is not around!
