Out for a Friday sail. And the first time that Mr McC had been on the boat since he'd scarpered ashore up in Arisaig nearly five years ago. A fine day for it! And no shortage of wind - especially on the trip back (note to self: must get the reefing lines in). A tie up for an hour in Aberdour at the top of the tide and some most excellent scran and even a bottle of beer.
So it was home a bit knackered; but after a quick catch of breath I met up with the drouthy crones for a blether and a couple of beers. And much manly chat. About things like baking bread. But who's Kevin Pietersen? And do they still take the goalposts down in public parks at the start of summer? Do public parks still have goalposts? And in what way is Edinburgh divided? Ok, that last one's about beer as Edinbrew's Divided City Blonde Beer was on tap. Not bad at all.
