Horsehoes Anyone?

I was walking past the fenced-off horseshoes facility in Cornwall Park this morning, when it occurred to me that I'd never seen anyone playing there. I commented on it to a passerby, and he said he hadn't, either, but he thought it might be used sometimes, and pointed to the large Bellingham Horsehoe Club bulletin board.

I walked over and took a closer look. The newsletter was dated August 2010.

The only time I've played the game is at group picnics. I can't imagine it having much appeal to youngsters -- perhaps if they had an app for it?
