Monday 4 June 2012: Gullywasher
In town today when the sky grew dark, thunder rumbled wind blew and the rains came down. In a torrent. It was hard to see to drive, wipers on high, a good inch or so of water standing on the pavement. We pulled into the parking lot of the local craft store and waited it out. The down spouts from the roof were overburdened apparently. Caught this one spewing water into the grill of this small SUV. The hard rain only lasted about 10 minutes at the most. Then we traveled on.
