Reflections

16C with lots of sunny sunshine and some thin cloud developing through the afternoon. Light breeze

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath before 9am and had our walk round the harbour. As we arrived several day trip fishing boats were leaving, and soon after two yachts left the marina in the inner harbour. The lock gate to the inner harbour was open and boats were moving in and out. We walked round to the boatyard and back enjoying the reflections in the water.

As soon as we got home Maeve wanted out into the back garden and she has been there since, lying in sun and shade alternately. He croissant corner is still sitting untouched in her food dish.

I went out for a walk after lunch. The film soundtrack to Local Hero on the Nano. I went up to the church then down the bridle path to the shore road and back along the cycle path and round in a loop up the main road before turning along for home.
