Tuesday 5 June 2012: Chalmered

Used some of the last day of the Jubilee break to have a look around Port Seton and Cockenzie, currently part of the 3 Harbours Arts Festival.

This is the roof of the beautiful Arts and Crafts Chalmers Memorial Church, which had open doors today.

The interior is amazing, almost Nordic with the blue and white detailing showing fish, birds and the waves. So hard to choose which picture to use. This one shows the whole view and this one some of the details, but I went with this one that just shows the blue and white details and maritime feel of the roof.

I had an interesting conversation with a lady who was visiting, about photography, and about her architect late partner, who used to always remind her to look up. We spoke about blip, and I gave her the link, so if you are reading this, it was lovely to speak to you.

Still feeling under the weather. I understand that is the way with this bug.
