Leaves in the Rain

Much-needed rain fell this evening in Northampton, with a series of thunderstorms.  This is the small dogwood by our back door, in almost complete darkness. However, it will take much more than this to bring an end to our drought, which has lasted at least a couple of months and has just brought restrictions on water use.
