Just A Smidge

The boss got up in the middle of the night. I heard him from my house under the stairs. I know the normal routine by heart but this time there was the sound of the blinds going up...pause...and down and I figured that he was checking to see if everything was all white...Well it wasn't and the day dawned with almost clear skies so it was not surprising when he announced right after Grub that we, (him and me) were going Blip hunting so off we went in Suzz down the road towards Lake Hawea but this time we never got there as the light was great and starting to wash over the ranges on the left of the road. Meanwhile The Bossess was grounded and sent a pic on her phone that showed a jet on the tarmac of Christchurch Airport. Yes you could just see it and it looked really pretty all covered in snow and not going anywhere. Here's a WOOF to keep her warm. She is going to need it.
And up on the tops? Just a smidge.
