Wednesday 6 June 2012: Silky seas
Rain, sun, rain, sun,rain,sun ... we ventured out to Glengarriff where there are woods to shelter in between the showers. Stunning views - big mountain, thundery clouds, lots of green and some amazing silky seas - the sea won. We ate ice creams and then shared a huge organic tasting plate at Mannings Emporium - 6 different cheeeses, olives, sundried tomatoes, gerkins - very continental and delicious.
The men went to see Prometheus last night - I opted out not being a fan of bad aliens, headless robots, exploding bits and opaque plots.
