Solway

We turned right at Carlisle on the way home and meandered around the Solway Firth, which was all new to me.  As flat as the Fens and littered with cows.  Large stretches would appear to be below sea level if some of the road signs are anything to go by.  We paused to eat the sausage rolls we were going to have for lunch yesterday and headed back down a wet and windy (as in blowy, not twisty) M6.
