BethaBlip 102...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Bethany got her eyes re-tested this week.  They’ve improved by a whole something or other, not sure what the scale is.  This did however mean that she got to select a new pari of glasses.  She chose the ones you see on her face now.  I think they rather suit her.

Bethany got a kids cook book from Granny C yesterday.  I phoned earlier to ask for something to be pulled out for dinner only to be told that Bethany was in charge of dinner. She made sweetcorn fritters, sausage pie and some muffin type things.  The fritters and pie were lush.  Muffin things could have been sweeter, but it was really good.

Oh, it was also her friends birthday this month and they went pony trekking.  Her first time on a horse.  I think the day was rather rotten but they still went on it.

I worked out this month that Bethany is absolutely rubbish at keeping secrets.  Just doesn’t get the concept of not letting on that she knows something that someone else doesn’t know.  I was organising her mother’s birthday and she kept telling her that she knew things, not what she knew.  Rubbish.
