Langstrath

We decided to head to Rosthwaite to go for a walk in Borrowdale, along Stonethwaite Beck and on into Langstrath. It was a pleasant walk along the beck, and we saw fields with Herdwick sheep and their young lambs. We also saw a Pied Flycatcher, which was a first for me.

This image is a view along Langstrath towards Scafell Pike, and I think the mono conversion adds to sense of rugged drama in this valley.
