Wednesday 6 June 2012: FAGFORBUNDETS AMBASSADOR CORPS FOR PALESTINE
Fagforbundet (Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees (NUMGE) - is the largest trade union in Norway with about 330,000 members.
Last year the Union established an ambassador corps for Palestine as a part of a 4 year long project with Norwegian People's Aid. The corps consists of 25 elected union representatives from all over the country. Their task is to raise awareness on the the situation for palestinians in Palestine and Lebanon. Palestine due to the occupation and spread information on our solidarity projects in these areas.
Geir Ole is one of the five that now visit Palestine, and the delegation is making an excellent work during these days.
