A view from where I parked at the optometrist to pick up my badly needed new glasses.  I had lost my reading glasses on leaving Paris at the beginning of April and had made do with a store-bought pair since then, while waiting finally to see the eye doctor for new prescriptions in late May.

Earlier we were sorry to see Roger Federer eliminated from the French open by his countryman Stan Wawrinka. Then I took my car to for its regular service in Greenfield (25 minutes away), and and endured a longer than usual wait, before finally heading back to get the glasses.  At least the rain has mostly stopped.
