Whipman Pram Race

Twas the Whipman Pram Race tonight
Through the river and the green
I almost never made it home
The amount of midges was obscene
I swear they evolved from piranhas
With massive chomping teeth
Near eaten alive
I'm glad I survived
Midge attack!! someone call the police!!

Police might be a bit extreme but you get the picture... I also watched the Cross Country Run go by as I stood by the chip van waiting on my chicken supper then bumped into my personal trainer who praised me on my marathon effort. Luckily I'd finished my chippy by then so she was none the wiser...
