Stone reflections

... and hello sunshine! We brought our own personal weather system with us. It was a glorious day; we arrived in Oxford at lunchtime and after the essential stops at Marks & Spencers and Blackwell's, headed off to Bundle's house. Arachne soon joined us and we had a lovely stroll into town through the parks in the evening sunshine, with many pauses for blippers to blip whatever took their fancy. Green grass, shady trees, dreaming spires in the distance, punts being poled gently along, even a red balloon in the sky in our honour -- a perfect Oxford summer day.

At the restaurant, we had a full complement of blippers: Bundle (I'm sure she'll start blipping again soon :)), Arachne, Stella Rossa, and the mysterious Chamaeleo, who is just as delightful as I expected. I was so pleased to meet these people I feel I know already. A delicious meal and wonderful company. Topics covered included blipping (of course), travel, birds, boats, mountains, and Gerry Adams' underpants. There! If anyone ever googles "Gerry Adams' underpants" they will end up on this page :)

Then a walk back to Bundle's through the cobbled lanes of Oxford in the light of the full moon, saying goodbye to Chamaeleo in front of the famous pelican. There may or may not be a photo of the blipmeet from someone else  -- in my extras, just more stones and reflections :) Next blipmeet: the summit of Canigou!
