Thriving in the Veggie Patch, with mounds of Compost, the strawberries take on Chernobyl-like forms and sizes...
In two weeks time, we'll be eating nothing but strawberries. In three weeks time, I'll be cooking strawberry jam that lasts us another year...
Chernobyl is just 27 years ago. I quite well remember Mrs Dutchoak - then Dutchoak's girlfriend - asking if everything was right. At the time I was hyperventilating with the idea what could happen if the wind blew the wrong way - literally. These days we just keep our cool - whatever happens.
