Wednesday 6 June 2012: What's Inside
I know you're all dying to know what was inside that giant lemon. Today I cut it open with a very large knife and found three sprouting seeds! In all my experience eating citrus, I have never seen a sprouted seed before--it was just another one of those made-my-day moments. I think I'll plant this somewhere out back and see what happens. Perhaps I'll get a tree that bears enormous misshapen fruit!
