Was it something I said?

My plan was to go to Long Jetty for a sunset.  We have really been having the most loveliest sunsets recently and it is not something I can do on a work day.  Well all was going to plan until I went over the creek at Belmont near Squiddies and noticed a squadron of pelicans, a flight of pied cormorants and a scoop Egrets all having a party. I quick Uie.    I adopted casual mode and walked up with the camera.  There was obviously a shoal of fish they were after but they all took off except for this Great Egret.  Was it something I said?  

I sat on a wet bank and watched him/her for a while until the fish was caught.  Missed the sunset of course but then there is always tomorrow.
