My Dad is 80 next year and compared with his friends (and Mum), he is quite frankly phenomenal.  This afternoon he was up ladder and onto the roof cutting back the wisteria followed by jumping around with his grandchildren in the garden... having already taken Sam on a shopping spree in the morning!
