Wednesday 6 June 2012: Sir Harry Hill Plantation
It was a dreich day at the outset as might be told from Blip towers. Later though, after a leisurely lunch in the pub, the weather broke and the sun shone indecisively from behind the clouds for most of the afternoon. The damp boughs of the trees in the woods looked dark against the fresh green tones of the new spring growth, a tonal contrast that a digital camera in colour struggled to capture. Mono was the way with this one.
I hope you like it.
