Bed of rose zzzz

I have been watching this katydid for the last few days hoping it would stay put in my fading rose until today for Tiny Tuesday.  Well it did so here it is.  I wonder whether it is sleeping as it really hasn't moved. Perhaps not really tiny though as you can see by the size against this rose.

On a more sombre note, there are some blippers whose lives are not a bed of roses at the moment and so my thoughts tonight are with them.
