Reflections at the end of a very busy day.

The day began on the shores of Lake Geneva where it was cloudy and cool.

I changed planes in London and was able to sample the delights of the BA Lounge before catching the homebound plane.

I was amazed to find Edinburgh the warmest place on my 850 mile northerly migration today : 20 degrees on landing.

It was still registering 20 degrees when I came out of the meeting at the Scottish Parliament this evening to see Salisbury Crags, bathed in midsummer evening light, reflected in the pool in front of the main entrance to The Scottish Parliament building.
