A swift half on a sunny afternoon

Finished work at lunchtime and popped into Dad's for a catch up. As usual, he asked if I would drop him off in town to do a bit of shopping.

It was such a lovely day that I turned off at a nice pub we always pass, and we sat out for half an hour with a cold drink. It felt good to do something out of the ordinary.

It made him smile ... and me too!
