This is either Blood-drop Emlets or Hybrid Monkeyflower - the question is, which? There's lots of it growing in the stream on Wooler Common.

Started on the paperwork this afternoon, and then MrM and I set out to visit an open garden. No sign of it which wasn't surprising as it's the wrong day - when we checked the poster, it's open tomorrow!

Great concert in Etal this evening - Vin Garbutt was just brilliant! The support act was pretty good too - MrM (mandolin and guitar) and Malcolm Bennett (vocals and guitar). Worth a couple of extra photos!
