The Dragons Have Arrived

It's a beautiful sunny day so I ditched the accounts and went to the gravel pits in search of dragonflies........and I was not disappointed :-) They were mostly Darters and Chasers, like the Scarce Chaser  shown here and they were mainly flying close to the water, so they were difficult to shoot without risking a ducking!!!.....but this one came a little further onto the bank, giving me an opportunity :-))
I knew I would be easily distracted if the sun put in an appearance, so the rain of the last two days actually did me a favour and allowed me to crack on with hubby's accounts and now there's just a few bits to finish off........but I haven't told him that yet ;-))
