Town centre touch down

We were in Woking at lunch time and were impressed by the Martian in pride of place at a cross roads. H G Wells, who wrote "War of the Worlds" lived in Woking and local places feature in the book. This a fine piece of "sculpture" to commemorate him. On fine day Woking was busy at lunchtime with many pavement cafes doing a good trade. We had a good meal at The Tante Marie School of Cookery.
