A day out to Vondelling Winery ...

I almost cancelled my day out as the rain lashed down and the thunder shook the heavens. My dear friend promised she would drive at a reasonable pace . We arrived in Paarl an hour later and my right foot was numb from pressing the 'brake' through the floor boards...so we were treated to an excellent wine tasting ,which thankfully settled my shattered nerves. Lunch was served in the farm kitchen in front of a roaring fire. I feel as though I've been on holiday .
The Internet is pretty hellish at the moment,so I'll catch up with you all in the morn.
