Stepping out

Avocets at Fairburn Ings this time.
The little ones were exploring on their own. They are so cute. A fluff ball on very long thin legs!
Mum was quite content to just sit and watch.
Actually she wasn't watching,  but trying to have a snooze.

We had gone over to the farm for some asparagus , but unfortunately the season has finished. We will now have to wait until next year!
Hoping our local farm shop may have some tomorrow, as they started cutting their's later.

Not a bad day weather wise, but a cold wind, yet again.
