Red Carpet

I managed to get tickets* for the opening Gala of the Edinburgh Film Festival. The Legend of Barney Thomson - directed by and starring Robert Carlyle, who pitched up on the red carpet along with the rest of his co-stars. Though Emma Thomson must have been washing her hair, or had run out of posh frocks, because she never appeared despite stealing the show as Carlyle's extremely foul mouthed mother. I've been practicing her Glasgow accent ever since.
