Friday 8 June 2012: It's a small world
So tonight was another evening at the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, this time a tasting session involving three whiskies, two Innis and Gunn beers and a plate of sausage and mash using Cumberland sausages from Crombies.
Normally that would have been a cornucopia of flavours, however, the lurgy had the impact of taking away all sense of taste so I certainly didn't get the benefit of trying everything. On the table though was one of the staff at SMWS accompanied by his partner, in the general chit chat it transpired that she worked at the Scotch Malt Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile and knows one of my fellow blipper friends on here, Lali! It's a small world in Edinburgh where everyone seems to be far less that six degrees of separation.
