The A's game!

Today Ro (leather hat on thumbnail) and I went to a baseball game. The Oakland Athletics v the Los Angeles Angels. A Father's Day present from our youngest! We had to get there early to be sure of a free gnome each for youngest son! I love the atmosphere of a baseball game with the candy floss, lemonade, corn dog, choc ice sellers touting their wares. Their are lots of beer, and food stands everywhere too! We had a burrito and later some garlic chips! We won 4:1 but it wasn't a very exciting match.

On my photo you can see the diamond with the pitcher pitching and the batter all ready to strike! The score board shows the first run was scored in the first innings.

Afterwards we went to church and at the end the priest asked all the fathers to stand and pronounced a special blessing on them and they were each given a pen for Father's Day! On the way out the fathers were given a lollipop each!

The others have gone out so we are having a quiet evening !
