Waterfoot Sunrise

Wild Orchid

After spending the evening catching up with #2 son and his girlfriend's news over a lovely meal, it was up early this morning for a round of golf. The course was deserted, and it was maybe just as well given some of our wild shots! There were also a lot of good shots and the old man eventually won by one hole, although to be fair son hadn't played since last year.

After morning coffee the young ones headed out on their mountain bikes to cycles some of the forest tracks before lunch. This afternoon we plan to go out fishing or sailing, or maybe even both, but it will depend very much on the weather conditions, which are fine at present although there is a little bit of a wind getting up. The wee boat was only put in the water a couple of days ago, so it will be a case of trying to remember where all the ropes and other bits a pieces go.

This evening we will head out for a nice meal at Dunvalanree to celebrate 2 birthdays, mother's day, father's day, and exam passes, which have all occurred since we last met up a few months ago. Should be a great evening and the food is always great.

While making my way down from the 6th tee this morning I spotted my first Wild Orchid this year and thought it should be my blip for today. Will hopefully catch up with commenting later tomorrow.
