Saturday 9 June 2012: Starlings

Not much chance to get out and about with the camera today as I somehow managed to get left doing all the household chores whilst everyone else went off lunching and spending hours in hairdressers. This included the rather unpleasant task of trying to clear a toilet blockage with a huge plunger. It wasn't having it though and after getting soaked with an unexpected back splash during some frantic plunging I gave up as I got a bit feart that a big jobby might jump out next.

I'm getting a plumber in, they're much more prepared for all that.

There's a gang of these birds hanging around the streets round here just now. They all look like they've just flown the nest and have been popping back on and off the back fence all day, preening and fluffing themselves up and enjoying the sun when it's out. Noisy buggers so they are.
