Saturday 9 June 2012: Dancing in the streets
As part of our festa occitana the traditional music and dance group Los Tegalos played accordions and danced in the main place of the village. I'll put an album of other photos on Flickr tomorrow, but for now I'm off to see more dancing and hear more music while we have apéritifs, then there's a meal, the St Jean fire (a couple of weeks early) and some more contemporary music with Mauresca Fracas Dub appearing at midnight....it's going to be a long and enjoyable evening.
I was thrilled this morning to read this article about my exhibition in Midi Libre, and with a nice photo of E taking a photo of me, taken by my friend J-M who wrote the piece.
