Change pt. IV - The Final

These are elevator doors to my office. I was waiting elevator when old friend change came and said that: 

"We have now only one thing left to do and if you do it my work is done for now"
"First thing when you get upstairs to your office you have to resign"
"And don't worry because if you remember that in earlier meetings we have arranged everything. There's gonna be new job waiting and before that a long vacation with your new family"
"Would you do it?"

I shouted "YES"

Then it said:
 "all right then, have a nice future. Maybe i'll be back someday but goodbye for now"
