Saturday 9 June 2012: Time for Tea
We had Stepram and family over for afternoon tea today...three kinds of baking and four kinds of sandwich. We have plenty left!
I got to practice with my 50 f1.4 with wriggly boy, and he got to show off his new kit and pick my brain. Fair trade. Although I suspect our respective partners might disagree with SPS giving A some 'how to be a camera widow' tips.
Sadly i've seen sharper footballs than that lense at anything below f2.8. 1 in 20 of the pics faster than f2.2 were sharp, with AF point select. Ah well.
I liked this, I have just been reading about the art of breaking convention with portraits where the subjects aren't looking at you. I liked the way baby E was with his mum. Says loads about the strength of their attachment :)
