Gorge

I heard about this place yesterday and went to see it today. The gorge Kjøsterudjuvet is 1300 meters long with 50 meters high walls. The width of the gorge is about 8 to 15 meters. It is a spectacular place. Difficult to photograph though. In the afternoon I went to Blaafarveværket. 
The Royal Modum Blaafarveværk was established in 1773 to extract cobalt from the mines at Modum. The cobalt was to be used to make the cobalt blue dye for the world's porcelain and glass industries. Today it's a museum with art exhibitions. The highlight for me were Nyfossum, a house museum were the director use to live and of course the Th. Kittelsen Museum.
